My Vision
I see love as a healing and vital life force that we all need, "from the cradle to the grave," as John Bowlby said. I believe in healing and growing through safe bonding and connection, and that body awareness is a powerful gateway to healing, especially when our usual ways of understanding ourselves and making changes no longer work.
In secure connections, we can grow and expand; when we don't feel safe, we merely survive rather than thrive. I have found that trauma work combined with attachment-based therapy offers the most profound path toward spontaneous, natural, and deep healing.
We are all naturally wired for connection and secure attachment. Each of us needs to feel safely connected, co-regulated and comforted.
Sometimes past trauma, events, or experiences can block us from these connections.
Through curious, compassionate inquiry, we can bring awareness to the unconscious core materials residing in our inner world—materials that influence how we manage and feel in close relationships and determine what feels possible for us.
"Know what you are doing, so you can do what you want."
I help clients and students discover these core materials and develop a secure attachment through an integrative approach that provides a model for personal and couples healing and growth.
